Some notes on the twin flame journey...

Hello, I'm Anne Noel

I was trained by Elle Hari in the Be With Your Twin Flame program. As I welcome all range of backgrounds, I specialize in those, who like myself, who have been managing anxiety and are in their twin flame journey.

Give Yourself Permission to Feel What You Feel

Some of us spend a lot of our lives trying to suppress our feelings to get through the day, just to function. And we did it with varying degrees of success. And for some of us that fell apart when we started our twin flame journey. We may have tried to do that again because that was what we have done.

In the process of balancing though, we are told to feel our feelings. At times we feel like that is one more thing we have to endure. I would like to give you a different perspective. Let me first give this disclaimer. Safety is always first. It is important that you are safe and others are safe. If what you are feeling is putting you in a position where you do not feel safe or someone else may not be safe, the priority will always be to seek safety even if that means get help. So from a position of being safe, here we go: Balancing your fear based energy does not mean making yourself feel something. You are already feeling it. We are talking about observing what you are already feeling. Give yourself permission to feel it. Sometimes we don’t give ourselves permission to feel. Sometimes we find ourselves in a loop. An example, I feel exhausted. But I have to keep going. I have too much to do. I have too much responsibility to stop. I feel guilty for not doing enough. I have to suck it up buttercup. And we push our feelings down. But what if we give ourselves permission to feel exhausted, to feel angry, to feel anxious. No, it's not comfortable. But it’s already there. Here’s an encouraging thing about our feelings. They aren’t us. We feel exhausted. But we are not the exhaustion. We feel angry, but we are not anger. We feel anxious, but we are not our anxiety. We tend to treat these things as our identity. They are not.

We pay more attention about what is happening in our bodies than we do how we feel. Here’s my hand as an example. I’ve had problems with it all my life. I have pains. I’m not the pain in my hand, but I feel it. It tells me something. So I act accordingly. It’s ok to feel the pain. When you get a stomach ache. Oh I have a stomach ache, why? Oh it’s because of this or that. What we feel in our bodies is a reaction to something happening to it. Our feelings do the same thing. They are reactions to something. They are reactions to our thoughts. See, feelings tell us something. I am feeling this way. Why? Ok here are the thoughts behind those feelings. It’s easier to observe those thoughts if we let ourselves feel those feelings. Now some of us don’t want to. The very feelings we have been pushing down for a long time…now we don’t get to that? How about approaching it this way. You have permission to feel them. Give yourself that permission. You feel exhausted? Feel exhausted. It’s ok. Take care of yourself. You feel angry? You have permission to feel angry. Don’t judge it. It’s valid. Ask yourself what’s behind that anger? What is it telling you? In the process of balancing, we are not forcing you to feel a certain way. Just observe what you already feel. Give yourself permission. When you give yourself permission, you are able to stop suppressing those feelings that are already there. When you stop suppressing them, you have the space to be able to observe what you are reacting to. You have the space to ask yourself what the trigger is and balance it.

Also give yourself permission for how much or how little you can handle today. No guilt or shame in that. It is ok to accept where you are at right now. That’s part of being present.

The Twin Flame Journey Is Like a Train

There is a train with two people on it. It is moving down the track. Neither person is getting off the train. One person is staying in one car. The other person is moving about all the cars. Now the person who is in the one car has to stay in the one car. The other person can come in that car or not come in that car. I can imagine how lonely it must feel for the person stuck in one car as the train is moving steadily down the track.

We have our own trains with their own tracks, our own set of rail cars, and destinations. These trains are our journeys. That one railcar. Why is it such a lonely railcar? Well this is kind of a solitary journey. It’s not something we would be talking about with other people because, first off, it feeds our fear-based energy, and second most people don’t know what we are going through because they haven’t started their own journey.

That railcar is actually the engine car of the train. It is in front. You are the engineer in your train. You can speed your train up, slow it down. But it will always be moving. You can go on whatever track you want; the destination is the same. Your journey is moving you closer to your soul. To yourself.

What about the other cars? Well that’s a tricky part. More cars mean more load on the engine. So, we want less cars. But how? The tricky thing is that our fear-based energy is adding cars on the train. As it grows, the train grows. Balancing our fear-based energy shrinks the train. Less cars.

We cannot shrink the train turning around and facing the direction of our wandering passenger. You know those movies, thrillers etc, where the protagonist ends up in a hall and sees the door they need to get to and visually the hallway grows? Staring down the direction of your passenger can grow the length of your train.

What can you do? Here’s a bit of being present as you engineer your train. You are in charge of your train moving down the track. It’s your train. You can see where your train is going. You can see where you are. Even enjoy the landscape. Decide where your train goes when you come up to a switch track. Now ultimately no matter what directions you choose, there is one destination. You. But you are the one to decide how you get there. Now you may feel apprehension how to deal with your fear-based energy adding more railcars. That’s handled through the process of balancing. As you balance, and each of the tricks that your fear-based energy used is no longer effective, those “cars” no longer exist. And the train gets shorter. The number of cars your wandering passenger is walking through is less. Face forward. Enjoy the view ahead of you. You don’t need to look back. Know your passenger is also on the train. Keep driving.

Anxiety does not define you.

Anxiety feels like its own ominous beast. It is and it isn’t at the same time. Anxiety is fear based. When you have soul recognition. Your fear-based energy gets activated. When your energy peaks you will be triggered in some way. Any range of triggers. Anger. Devastation. Sadness. Fear. Panic. Physical pain. That dreaded anxiety you thought you had under control.

Thing is that anxiety is no more a special beast in the journey as it was before it. Can it feel out of control? Yes. Why? It is fear-based. Your fear-based energy was activated. And it wants to grow.

So how do you manage your anxiety now? You do and you don’t. What? Yes, it is a trigger point your fear-based energy will likely use to distract you from balancing. Keep balancing.

The big BUT: Your anxiety is not your twin flame journey any more than a hammer is the shed being built in your back yard. It’s a tool in your fear-based energy’s “belt”.

It’s not the main thing. You are the main point of your journey. YOU! Balancing in your twin flame journey is about you and your soul. Which is you. And your twin flame. Your soul. This is a journey about yourself. This journey is going to make you see yourself. This journey is about you.

You continue to manage your anxiety by staying safe and/or getting help to stay safe the same as you would if you were not in your journey. We still have lives that we are managing in our 3D world. And while that…you have your twin flame journey. It is concurrent but not the same. As likely as you are to be triggered in your journey, you balance the same as with any other emotion, feeling. Stuff is stuff. When you are balancing, it doesn’t need a label. Is it there, yeah. But it doesn’t need any special attention. As you balance your fear-based energy ALL fear-based emotions, feelings, all that stuff does calm down.

When I said ALL fear based, this means anxiety, even though it feels like it is, it really isn’t the main player.
